Boots Opticians Lincoln - High Street

I have attended the Opticians at Boots Lincoln for many years and have always found all the staff very friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. My new spectacles have always been ready on the arranged date. I highly recommend their service.

The staff at Boots Opticians are very friendly from the Optometrist to the reception and fitting staff. Been back a couple of times for adjustment to the new frames and it was no trouble at all. There's always light banter with some of the staff which is lovely .

This dedicated opticians on the High street has the triple x and wow factors. Staff are friendly, courteous and profession totally customer focused. The lady who initially did eye tests was knowledgeable, understanding and immediately put me at my ease as I am nervous of anything to do with eyes. Then Thomas, the optometrist, finished off the consultation. From the word go Thomas' relaxed attitude was notable and he was a real breath of fresh air on every level. His attention to medical history, ailments, etc was comprehensive. The consultation was unhurried. By this I mean as he changed lenses in the contraption on my head, he gave me the time to identify the differences between lenses - to ensure prescription lenses gave my sight maximum benefit. Thomas is a gentleman. He is one so obviously concerned about people's sight such that I received an education in a convivial atmosphere where I was eager to learn how to protect my vision. His educating me with regard to cataracts was very revealing. I thank him for his insight, wisdom and experience. So far, in my 50 years of diabetes and many eye tests over the years, Boots provides one unique service to the public through the excellent personnel whose attention to all sight related matters is customer centred.

I was most impressed by Tom your Optometrist who was extremely friendly and very informative. He gave me some very clear recommendations as well as a previously unconsidered option of using Workplace varifocals. Nice to see someone so obviously enjoying his job. The only slight negative would be your pricing information and structure for glasses and lenses which i found to be be confusing and to be honest not as good value as some other providers.

When I made the internet booking, I asked to see a particular optometrist. When I arrived for my appointment my request hadn't been read and I was told (very nicely) that in fact he didn't work on Mondays. It would have been a good idea to have read that and phoned me to let me know that before my appointment, giving me the opportunity to reschedule. As it was, the optometrist I saw (Tom) was excellent and I was very happy with the appointment and the friendly and professional service I received.

Really great visit, all of my options and the procedure was explain thoroughly and I felt very well advised and at ease. I'll be back in two weeks for a contact lense appointment.

The optician is excellent. Very thorough and very pleasant. Had time to listen and asked questions to gain a thorough history. Offered suggestions and gave full explanations to the other staff about what tests were required. We have been going to this optician for years.

Good service provided by all staff including assistance with choosing glasses.
