Amazing service. Optician was informative, and actually explained everything he was doing and why. He showed me the results of all my tests and the images too, which I found fascinating. I also received a lot of help picking my glasses which I find tricky to do on my own, staff were very honest without being offensive in any way. I welcomed information regarding lenses which I'm so happy about as I opted for driving lenses to help with glare from lights. Can't wait to get my new glasses now.

The Optometrist was brilliant. I have early stage macular degeneration and dread the appointments in case its got worse. Farah put me at ease straight away and made some really good suggestions to help with every day things including suggesting using a magnifying mirror to help when drawing eyebrows! (Simple I know, but I hadn't considered it) The eye check results were very positve as well, so many thanks. See you in twelve months. Regards and thanks Sue

Optometrist was amazing. So knowledgable about products and recommendations. Other staff were brill letting me try on glasses and being honest about what suited me etc. Will definately go back for further check ups.

Shop floor staff lovely as always. Different optometrist who was efficient but seemed adamant I spend as much as possible on extra pairs of glasses, varifocals etc and took some convincing that I only wanted distance glasses. Part eye examination, part overt sales pitch. Haven't had this before and much prefer previous optometrists, who have been friendly and knowledgeable without being so pushy.

The test was fine, and free as I had a voucher. I have always been happy with the optometrists at Boots. However, I would never buy another pair of glasses from Boots after a previous experience. The aftercare was appalling and I was left with a pair of specs I couldn't use.

All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was explained to me so I understood everything about my vision and what was the best treatment.

Very friendly and offered practical advice re contact lens usage even though I've worn them for many years e.g. change after swimming
