Fantastic service today at Boots in Cheadle .Neehad and Clara were both fantastic. They both helped me chhose a fantastic pair of desighner perscription sunglasses at a fantastic price . Made me feel very welcome and they were both very knowledgeable regarging all there offers and products Thank you Lawton Berry

Very disappointed after my visit to Boots opticians in Cheadle last month. The day before my visit I received a call (they didn’t check if it was a convenient time to talk) asking me to come 15mins before my appointment time, in order to have a COVID test. On the day, appointments were clearly running late and I had to join the queue of people outside the shop. When we were admitted, nobody had their temperature taken and no mention was made of covid testing. The eye test itself was ok, but a bit quicker than usual. The parent of a child who was having their appointment was asking a member of staff about her own needs, saying she was due for an appointment. They took up a lot of room in the small premises but no-one asked them to move from in front of the glasses where I was trying to choose a frame. Another customer was trying on frames and allowing her toddler to try frames, which were then not put on the section provided for ‘to be cleaned’ items. I was asked about anti-scratch coating, which I agreed to, but did not agree to Protect Plus, so my bill was £30 more than it needed to be. When I came to collect the glasses, it was late in the afternoon and it felt as if staff couldn’t wait to get away from work. I was not even given a mirror to look in to see if I liked the look of the finished glasses. The member of staff had stood up and walked away before I had even got the glasses case in my bag. It felt perfunctory and almost rude, and certainly not how I want to be treated when I am paying hundreds of pounds for something. I will not be choosing this particular branch again and am disappointed in the service I received.

I have been attending Boots Opticians, Cheadle for many years now and can highly recommend them for their efficiency and professionalism. All of the staff are friendly, attentive and very helpful. I have never had the slightest problem with the glasses I have had from this practice. Rahil is not only an expert optometrist, but is also a real gentleman. I always make an effort to arrange to be seen by him whenever possible.

Very satisfied with the whole experience from eye test, advice , purchase of frames and lenses. Very good deal there by the way. Rahil and his team, particularly Julie, excellent attitude and customer care. Difficult to comment on what could be improved given the current pandemic.

I was attended to by Rahil, Branch Director, who has looked after my eye care for many years. The service and attention to detail is still impressive, as always. The staff are well trained, courteous and helpful at all times. Even in view of the number of Opticians in the town, this is the only establishment I would choose to look after my eye care. I trust their judgement completely and am very comfortable in their care. There is nothing I could think of to improve the overall experience of this excellent establishment.

Today at 14.20 I had an appointment at Boots Cheadle. I was welcomed and given a place to sit. Every thing was thoroughly wiped before my initial consultation and I was asked questions re. my history, likes/dislikes and general health plus home and Health centre address checks. I was made to feel very comfortable. I asked for the private machine to be used to check my eyes. I had to be helped with the test and my head was very carefully held in the correct place. Once procedures had been done I went in for eye test with Optometrist RANIC. I have a hearing loss but he was very clear when speaking to me. I left feeling 100% satisfied and thanked them for the EXCELLENT AND VERY CARING SERVICE. The explanations given to me were very clear and I was told that I could return any time if I wanted a slight change of prescription. All explanations were given in simple but very clear terms. Full marks to Boots, Cheadle , Manchester
