I have just gone in this morning to book for a sight test this morning. When I came in a few of the staff were on the main desk and when I came in they dispersed to do other things. One entertained a gentleman on the table beside it and another went to see a lady waiting for them in one of the clinic rooms. There were however two young ladies named Hannah and Abi who were in one corner, talking and holding Xmas decorations. The young lady named Hannah, saw me standing there but took no notice and carried on talking to Abi and to me it appears like she was not even helping Abi and it almost looks like she was trying to look busy. I didn’t say anything and I thought, maybe they were trying to sort something out so I patiently waited for them to finish and come to entertain me. A few minutes had passed, I was starting to feel silly for standing there like an ornament because no one seems to be bothered to cater to a client, I was about to call their attention when a lady came in with a gentleman and went straight to the counter where I was stood and Hannah saw them come in. She dropped what she was doing then went to the counter (didn’t even look at me), started to entertain the clients that have JUST come in. Fortunately, another staff member came. I forgot her name but she was a senior member of staff as I noted in the badge. She was very accomodating and lovely. I was feeling furious as this has not only happened to me once. This has happened to me twice and if I am not mistaken, it was the same young ladies who have ignored me before. Now I wasn’t going to complain really until it happened again today and I felt like, if the look doesn’t fit, or because I am a foreigner and they didn’t really care assisting me. I have been a customer of Boots for a few years now and I have always been treated well by the staff and the opticians except just now with these young staff members. I have read a few reviews on here where they are complaining of the younger staff as well for being rude. I am a nurse and am dealing with a lot of other people too and this kind of behaviour is what will pull a business down. I hope the staff will improve in the future.

I found James to be very professional and friendly. He is very patient and makes you feel welcome. I bought vari focals for the first time. . Julie was fantastic. I found she was honest and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Boots optician in Northwich to family and friends. Thank you for your excellent service.

I was told what was happening & why & also suggestions as what I was to do if I noticed any abnormalities. Optician also consulted with colleague about my left eye & recommended I have regular blood pressure taken . Very pleased with his knowledge & how helpful he was.

Super care from welcome to departure. Pre-test assessment quick and knowledgeable. All options explained clearly by optician, tailoring to my specific work/personal needs. Equipment/technology reassuringly impressive, along with double checking all my details were correct. Advice on frames and contact lenses was extremely professional,knowledgeable and friendly.
