Having had a recent stroke I was looked after very well and everything was explained to me. It was an excellent experience

An incredibly disappointing few months from the time of my first appoint in March. Could not see clearly on one eye and went back for a re-test - same outcome. Assistant said 'I would get used to them' but how that was going to happen when I could not see was interesting. Had to ask for prescription as not offered and had re-test done in Mcr where I had been going successfully for a number of years. Outcome was prescription quite different so back to Kendal and requested both pairs (I had two) were re-done and wanted to make appointment to collect. Was advised abruptly I would be phoned when ready but at this point was not expecting this! Rang and another assistant provided me with decent service on the glasses and pleased that the new ones were correct. No sign of the Manager or an apology but all in all, circa 6-8 visits to the practice. Please be warned that the test may not be sufficient for your needs as the original test (and follow up) was cursory and substantially less than the re-test in Mcr which was incredibly thorough and I was very pleased with the service and outcome from that practice.

I can only describe the whole experience as a nightmare Disorganised staff who seemed to think customers have up to 45 minutes each time I have visited Impersonal consultants I could go on.................................

I think the Optomerist, was called Zac, he was a locum from Blackburn, he was amazing, the best Optomerist, I had seen at my branch.

Very friendly staff. Efficient and on time.
