I found my optometrist extremely helpful. Unfortunately, I have always found the female staff to be surly, unhelpful and their attitude as if they were doing me a favour.

Terrible customer service. The optometrist spoke down to me and was extremely rude. He was more concerned with receiving payment from me than actually discussing my options for care. Would never go back here again.

care and consideration and step by step explanations through out my examination and prescription lens/ spectacles change made the process very calming , I felt relaxed and happy with my visit .

Carry on doing the same

I have always found the Optician very capable and staff polite and obliging in all the years I have been registered there. However, having recently experienced a problem on which I genuinely wanted some support and guidance I was not able to see nor speak directly to the Optician via phone. The receptionist was asked to pass on a very brief reply on his behalf. I found this very upsetting. Whilst I understand how busy an optician must be, to not spare a few moments to extend advice as best he could, at a time best suited to him, displayed a lack of care for a patients well being and am now at a loss as to where to turn or what to do. Diagnostically very capable, but lacking in concern for patient care outside this narrow remit.
