My optometrist, Joanne whom I have seen in previous years, was her usual friendly, concise self and willing to engage in my health questions. I understood the small changes in my sight and her help in which glasses to chose. I paid for 2 inner eye photos, the reason for which were explained fully to me Once out in the shop I received excellent and quite lengthy assistance, from Alison the shop floor team leader, in choosing my glasses. Invaluable assistance as I was changing previous choices and having a slightly different half price pair. I was also entitled to a third and free (reading) pair. This whole exercise is not inexpensive but the service I was afforded made sure it was good value for money - excellent in fact

Went to collect my glasses and was attended to by Barb 3119. For the first time ever I felt someone was actually listening to me with respect to my needs. Nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to have her support and encouragement in selecting new glasses. Her manner was so agreeable. I ended up buying another pair of glasses and was very pleased and felt so much happier. When I go again I hope to be served by her.

Bought my glasses from Worcester store about 14 months ago Have been back to have them altered on several occasions due to them getting loose About a 10 minute job Went in this morning to have them altered again only to be told They couldn’t possibly see me today Asked if I could make an appointment Yes in about 3 weeks Went to an independent opticians within the city Who adjusted them for me Offered her money for helping me out No charge only pleased she could help me I WONT BE RETURNING TO BOOTS

I have had a great experience at Boots, from the referral for cataract treatment to the present. I had a very thorough examination initially, was referred to a private clinic for the cataract operations (funded by the NHS) and had thorough checks at Boots after the operations. Both times I was contacted by a staff member from Boots to ask how the operations had gone and to arrange post op appointments. Throughout, staff have been courteous, efficient and thorough. All my questions were answered and there was very little waiting involved. Well done Boots.

Sarah was very professional and courteous throughout the eye test - I was unsure of a few test but Sarah explained them so clearly so that I could understand what was happening. After the test I was introduced to a lovely lady called Clare who sat down with me and went through all my options regarding my new glasses - nothing was too much trouble for her - even when I was being very picky with my choices.

Fiona was wonderful with my eight year old daughter, who was feeling nervous about having her eyes checked. Fiona used humour to put my daughter completely at ease and patiently explained each step of the appointment process. Her colleague, John, was also kind and helpful while my daughter tried on numerous glasses! Fantastic customer service - thank you!

The appointment was a follow-up to a cataract operation. My details had been given to your Worcester branch by the hospital. The branch (operator A) telephoned me and made the appointment. I received a letter dated 24 th July referring to "my recent visit", making offers but not referring to the appointment. I attended on 19th August. Operator B greeted me. She was friendly and courteous, but said I had no appointment. I mentioned the letter of 24 July and she said yes I was on our books but without any appointment. Another person then appeared, identified herself as operator A and said my appointment had been on 18th August. This is not impossible but unlikely - I have just one date and time written down, the appointment had not been confirmed in any way and operator B could not find. Operator B then made a fresh appointment. I attended on 23 August, was greeted courteously by operator C. operator D then approached me, asked for personal details and the date of my last eye test She then asked why I had made the new appointment. I referred to the cataract operation. She instantly apologised for her ignorance, said I needed to see Sarah, but that she could "take my pressures" and did so. Operator A then approached me and asked why I had come. I told her and she went away, returning 15 minutes later to say she had forgotten about and presented an alternative client to Sarah. Fifteen minutes later I entered Sarah's consulting room.From this point on I have nothing but praise for the service provided.

The optometrist was attentive and professional, and keen to take a full history and investigate any unusual symptoms. The examination was thorough, and due to some slight changes observed in the left eye and a borderline high pressure reading in the right eye, a further appointment for a dilated eye inspection, repeat retinal photography and another pressure test was booked. The assistant carrying out the retinal photography was possibly in need of more training or experience with the retinal camera, but she was pleasant and did do a lovely job of cleaning my spectacles for me.
