Boots Opticians Denton

I was concerned about a deterioration in one of my eyes. I got a speedy appointment. The staff are always friendly and efficient. I have great faith in Alex, the Optometrist, who has been monitoring my eye condition. Examination concluded I needed a hospital referral and that was done swiftly. I have used Boots Opticians many times before,so I knew I would have great service on my appointment for Reading and Distance glasses,receptionist was really good at her job and guided me through the process ,this was by team member Julie, ..The actual eye test wea done by the optician and was very thorough indeed,a very technical procedure done so professionaly and with full explanations all the way along.I was then guided through frames and all information and am delighted with the results..

Had to nip in to boots Optitions in Denton after my glasses broke, turns out it was quite an easy fix for them to sort out for me and it was completed in around 10-15 minutes while I was sat there

Been to Specsavers before which was not a good experience, so decided to go to Boots at Denton. What a fab personalised service they give. Nik and her staff team couldn't be more helpful and attentive, very patient and understanding with what I required. Everything was explained with precision, nothing was too much trouble. The optician Alex was very thorough and explained the different type of lenses I would need. They even offered a lovely brew whist I choose my glasses. A fantastic service all round. Ready to assist yes, but unfortunately my consultation was interrupted by enquiries from another customer and the free assistant taking the customer to my area in the shop where I was in conversation. Perhaps there needs to be other staff to help in cases like this. I also felt the place where you are talking to the assistant is right in the middle of the shop, and I felt it wasn't convenient to have people passing by looking at sales goods whilst you are in conversation with a member of staff regarding your glasses. At one time the table was near the window, leaving the space in the shop for viewing of glasses. I was also not able to take the "fields test" as the machine was not working due to water being found on the top of the machine (as the optometrist remarked) so I felt I didn't get such a thorough test as maybe at another Opticians. I had with me a pair of sunglasses and wanted a prescription to fit my sunglasses. After some time, the assistant gave up on trying to input data for this, as she said the machine would not let her do it. In the end I took them to Glossop, where I was assisted within five minutes, no problems. I don't think I would visit Boots Opticians again in the future

I went to the boots opticians in Denton. Genuinely the nicest ladies you will ever meet! They make you feel so welcome to their shop, give great advice and are just so lovely I have recommended them to everyone I speak to!! can't thank them enough for being so lovely and helpful
