Everything they did was Ok. They gave me the time to go over the tests, and explained each stay.

Both myself and my wife had consecutive appointments. Neither of us were impressed with the way the actual sight tests were conducted by the performer. Always before when we have been to Boots for our eye tests they appeared to be carried out more thoroughly. We both felt that the tests were rushed. My prescription stayed the same as last time but my wife's had altered. When we got home we found it difficult to read the results and we may have to go back to have someone write them more clearly as she has to have new glasses. We didn't even bother to stay and look at new glasses for her.

I had a query about my new contact lens prescription which was resolved to my satisfaction.

I felt as if my eye test was purely based on making sales and not putting the health of my sight first. Constantly going on about bifocals which was three times the price of the frames and lenses. As a professional driver I can't afford to have any blurd vision at any time which means I would have to go for the top of range which is £200. When driving hgv it's putting people's lives at risk. Plus with wages not growing at the same rate of inflation it's difficult for everyone. I was also kept waiting at the reception desk for 10mins just to book in. The other thing that concerns me is that last time I had to return a number of times to have my glasses adjusted because they were cutting into the side of my head and drew blood. But I thought I would give boots a second chance. But have been very dissapointed that sales come before customer service.

Great little store at Clacton on Sea. I always feel I get a eye check and know I can rely on their advice. The staff are really friendly which puts you at ease too. They also tell the truth if the frames suit you or not.

Served quickly, wasn't waiting around very long. All very simple and quick! My first visit to Boots and can't believe I've never been before! Won't be going back to that other well known opticians!
