Boots Opticians Cannock

Awful! put the wrong prescrition in my glasses ! tried to insist it was because I wasnt used to the chage even though I couldnt se ethorugh them at all.When they check the precription was wrong. I went back the floowing week to find they glasses still incorrect when I said I could read the bottom 3 paragrahs of small print with my old glasses but nothing with the new and the print was comapletely blurred and un readable again they said it was because I wasnt used ot the new prescription. At this I asked for my money back as I felt they were unable to carry the service out to a professional standard. The Optician who was the director of the practice came out after I asked for my money and was very rude and arrogant. I wouldnt recommend this practice to anyone. I have emailed Boots at Nottingham directly they have answered my first issue raised but not answered my second email to them after my appointment last week. Awful Awful practice. Im having my eyes re tested this week and will take this further should the prescription Boots Cannock prescribed be different.

The optician completely ignored the advice of my hospital consultant and refused to carry out the test required to determine that I have no signs of retinal damage from my medication. The optician the told me I needed glasses for the second time I've seen her, despite the lenses she said I need only being .25 strength and when put in front of my eyes does not improve my vision which I don't have any issues with.

I took my 6 year old daughter and the level of service expertise in their area is exemplary. I could not praise enough.

Helpful staff, excellent eye test with all areas explained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleased with service.

The optometrist was very helpful in explaining how the eye works and what happens to eye health over time. The other staff were not so approachable or helpful when it cam eto choose glasses for the first time.

Friendly service but I feel that the glasses are overpriced compared to other opticians. Also, I had a voucher for £30 worth of Boots points when spending over £100 that was not added correctly so I am very disappointed about this.
