I paid for an OCT eye test on top of my normal eye test. I had to return to the store and have both my reading and computer glasses returned to the manufacture three times because the prescriptions were wrong. How is this even possible? I ordered Ray Ban frames as usual and they were sub-standard and definitely not Ray Ban quality. (Ray Ban frames are always marked with the Ray Ban signature; these frames are not.) From day one the left hand side of the lenses have continued to fall out. Every time I use the glasses (both pairs) I have had to waste time putting the lenses screws back in before I can use them. Complete waste of time and money. I had the same problems with the glasses that I purchased last year and thought that this had been a one-off experience. Will never recommend the store and will never go back. Take my advice and go elsewhere.

eye test was good,young man who I was directed to to help chose glasses was mainly helpful but ultimately despite me asking about putting on my Boots advantage points which was not made clear before test and choosing glasses that only 1 point per pound (could have gone to Tescos ) he failed to add my points on although he told me he would do it straightaway after I had gone,I continued checking my points and have now left it with another member of staff who confirmed points had not been added on but she would add them on when next in at the Castlepoint branch 25/10/17,I am due to collect my order of glasses £610 on 26/10/17..............

My daughter had a last of the day appointment at 6.50pm. We both felt rushed through everything as the staff couldn't wait to get finished! Never been treated like this before anywhere else, so pleased we had a voucher for free eye test otherwise would have been mad to have paid for this!!! Would not recommend them, will not return! Ps Was phoned early that day to see if we could make it 15mins earlier!

I found the staff and the experience very good apart from the fact that although I have had my previous 2 eye tests at Boots and by the same optometrist, who remembered me, I was not on their system and my past history/orders could not be located. I do find this unacceptable.

Sam did my health checks and was very friendly and efficiant. Farah did my sight test and explained everything in a detailed manner and Curtis spent a very long time with me after the test to help me choose my first pair of glasses. Excellent experience all around and will definitely be coming back in the future!

The young man who saw me before the Optometrist had very bad breath. I appreciate this is a very delicate topic but he needs to be made aware of it.
