Booking online was simple and stress free for me. I was called prior to my first booked appointment to check I was still attending and to tell me I needed to arrive ten minutes early. I was busy and said yes but then processed what was said later on, got distressed and did not understand why they would do that especially as I disclosed autism on the form. I ended up cancelling that appointment to the distress change of appointment time caused and I was worried this would not be an easy process for me. BUT I booked another appointment and in the box I asked for no one to call me prior to appointment, that I would arrive ten minutes early and that I would call if I needed to cancel. To my surprise they listened and refrained from calling! Sounds like no big deal but it is rare for my requests to be respected like that no matter how basic, especially from health care professionals. When I got there the staff were friendly, nice about my nervous ramblings, and informed me of some helpful things which helped me to understand blepharitis (condition) and how to treat it as I was given outdated advise by a previous optician. To my pleasant surprise my prescription had not changed but the staff were transparent about benefits not covering glasses / lens costs due to unchanged prescription and was ready and happy to help me with blue light tint lenses and blepharitis treatments if I wanted to discuss them. I wanted to and then had to force myself to acknowledge my current financial situation not allowing me to consider these just yet. I was worried they were going to think I was just messing them around but the staff were understanding all the same and allowed me to take pictures of the treatments so I could come in confidently when I have the money to purchase these items without having to remember what was said at this appointment. Last eye test (which was too long ago) I went to a different optician and that optician made such a big deal about things like me asking if I could get my new lenses in old frames but Boots Opticians Bexleyheath were happy to do this if I needed new lenses. The smoothness and respectful service I received gives me no doubt that I will be returning here in 2 years time for my next eye test. Thank you to everyone that I interacted with yesterday at this opticians.

I have attend the shop to buy glasses for many years. I will not be returning. I waited 1 month for computer glasses. Every time I phoned they were always with the courier. When they turned up I could not see the computer with them. I waited another week . I had a miss call so I called back. Only to be told someone would call back. Waited no call. So called again to make appointment to pick up. To be told no appointments on Thursday so I tried Friday I have an appointment on Friday thanked the receptionist only to be told see you Thursday. Your staff need training. I just hope that they are correct this time. We will wait and see. Bexleyheath shop

I’ve always used Boots but in August 2001 I wasn’t satisfied with the tests they offered. Tests that I usually have weren’t offered this time. I also found that the prescription I was given didn’t make my sight much better than it was before. Didn’t complain because I was in hospital when I received my glasses. Don’t know why it went so wrong this time but probably won’t use them again now.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. Did not give me all of the information required in one go - decided to drip feed information in a piece meal manner which ultimately meant that they could provide what I needed. Waste of time.

I live in Greece and in 2018 was staying with my daughter and on the fly I went in Boots to have my eyes checked. By far the most comprehensive series of test I have ever had. It has been a while since I last had my eyes check. Needed glasses for both long and short. Frames were picked, cash passed hands and in a few weeks they turned up at my local PO in Greece. This year the frames I picked for reading turned out to be a bad choice and much super glue has been use. I asked my daughter to ask if they could replace them for me. After a e-mail from me giving my OK for the order and mentioning that I want a stronger, more robust frame. The glasses were prepare and this week they arrive with excellent frames. From my daughter asking to me getting the glasses just over five weeks. I really fail to see how this service could be improved on to tell you the truth.

Boots Opticians in bexelyheath is the best Opticians Iv ever been to. They are very friendly, honest and really cared about what’s best for mine and my family’s eye health. Highly recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely fantastic service. I can’t explain how much I love my glasses! The lenses are quality when I compare them to glasses i have had in the past from other opticians. Really lovely and friendly staff also - thank you!

The staff were extremely exceptional. They were very helpful and informative without being pushy. My daughter who was anxious about wearing contacts, after seeing the team here is now very confident about wearing them. They were very patient with her and didn’t rush her at all. She is trying the mi sight lens and it is working very well for her. I would highly recommend this team to everyone.

Although the examination was very good and the advice given was professional the service after buying the glasses was unsatisfactory. Order placed on 14 March advised about a week for one pair and ten days for the other. Not informed so visited on 27 March. One pair in but I was not informed, and the other pair due on 29 March. Had not heard so on 4 April phoned to be told both pairs were at store. Also they said they had phoned my mobile ,which was not true as no calls logged as received or missed, and when I pointed this out was then told must have phoned the landline. For a purchase of £608 I don't think this is very good. Will collect on 5 April to make my feelings known

My experience at boots opticians was just amazing. A couple of weeks ago I was seen by Mr Patel then handed to an assistant after my test. At first the first assistant I was handed to wasn't much helpful but to my luck and due to how busy the store was I was handed over to another assistant as someone else was in need of who I was with. all i can say is professional, caring, and smiley!!! and as it was my first glasses I was taking super long but she said it was normal and continued searching for glasses with me. Yesterday I went to collect my glasses and it topped it all up. I was seen by her again where she fitted it with i must admit several attempts until she got it perfect but i did not mind. and she remembered my name too! I must say it was pricey as I had gone for a coating the assistant had recommended and also made my lens thinner as she'd said the material is unbreakable cause she knew my previous pair broke. Thank you Mr Patel and Nadiya!!! Fantastic service
