Boots Opticians Bath - Upper Borough Walls

I was visiting Bath on holiday and I started experiencing flashing lights in one eye. I am aware that this can be a sign of retinal problems so I visited Boots Opticians to ask for advice. The staff could not have been more helpful. I was seen straight away even though they were very busy and was given a comprehensive series of tests which thankfully showed that the problems were not serious. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism shown by all the staff members I saw and thoroughly recommend them.

Had received free eye check letter from my Old Boots opticians in Richmond, tried to book in Bath online as I moved a few years ago to Bath. Online system wouldn't work so had to book over phone. No mention of cost or charges on booking, however at end of consultation was told I had to pay. Pressured to buy new glasses even though don't really need them.

The care was helpful, professional and efficient. The optometrist was willing to discuss the concerns I had with my sight and I found that very useful. The main asset in this particular branch, though, are the personalities of the staff. The person who took me through the basic checks, the optometrist who tested me, and the person who helped me choose the glasses were all friendly, welcoming and genuinely concerned about my treatment. Hang on to them for dear life!

Advice from the opticians at this branch is always consistent and helpful. All staff are very friendly.

My son has Aspergers and takes time to make decisions.the staff were extremely kind and gave him plenty of time and repeated information when he needed clarification.they allowed him independence to choose his glasses frames but stepped in with support when he needed it.thankyou for the patience, sensitivity and understanding given today.
