Boots Opticians Bristol - Emerson Green

The optometrist I saw wasn’t listening to me when I said I wanted glasses made with clear glass at the top and reading glasses at the bottom,so I could watch television and read at the same time without taking reading glasses off and on! I was very disappointed to find when I went to pick them up that not only were they just reading glasses but I had to pay £250 pounds more to get the glasses I wanted in the first place. I just hope they’ve got it right when I finally go to pick them up! If not I will have my money back and go to Specsavers!!

Never returned my calls, glasses were 10 days late and when i tried them on they were very dirty, customer service not good , did not answer the phone in the mornings and did not ring to say the glasses would not be in on time, apart from that great

I didn’t have an eye test, but needed to comment at how wonderful the young lady was who helped me today. I didn’t catch her name but her customer service was naturally brilliant! She was in the process of training 2 other ladies, but couldn’t do enough for you. I hope this message gets to her...we are so quick to complain and moan but she was a breath of fresh air! Thankyou

Great service. Optician was thorough, helpful and double checked to make sure prescription was spot on...even though it took a little longer for me. Brilliant with my daughter as well. And support staff were fabulous and very helpful..happy to give advice and opinions after first checking what type of glasses I was looking for. Am on contact lens scheme...great value when taking into account the service, discounts and ongoing care. Would recommend.

Tanya did the test and Leanne did the first few tests and glasses after. Both were very professional but friendly. I’ve seen Leanne for my glasses for years and Tanya did my eye check last year as well. I hope both are still here for my next check!

Kind helpful staff. The optometrist, Priya, talked me through the eye examination and explained the changes in my eyesight clearly. The consultant, Elisha, helped me choose the right glasses for me and explained the different options really clearly. Altogether a very positive experience. Quick, efficient and friendly.

Explained what the tests involved and why, so I understood that implications. I came away with a better understanding than I've ever had of a couple of things.

I used a free eye test voucher and chose a pair of boots own glasses so it worked out very good value. The examination seemed very thorough and all the staff were very helpful and friendly
