The doctor was extremely rude and abrupt.

Suggested improvements
Better bedside manner from the doctor - I understand they are stretched but when you have patients who are scared it’s not ok to be rude

To which question?

Waiting times are always going to be an issue. I was seen at the A&E relatively quickly but I was waiting at urgent care for around 3 hours, which is ironic. Treatment was great. The doc was friendly and reassuring which is what I needed.

I was told to go to the same day centre for my appointment which was incorrect and I had to then travel to the urgent care centre at DRI. I then had to wait over an hour to be seen, despite having an appointment. The GP I eventually saw was really personable and caring.

Suggested improvements
The receptionist at the urgent care centre appeared slightly uninterested, but I appreciate she may have been busy with other tasks and calls.

Was seen and actually listened to by the doctor who examined me Thoroughly explained what was wrong how to help it and how to move forward with it

Suggested improvements
Just keep patients up dates on time scale as I paid for a hour with having an appointment but had to go pay for two more hours then I went in nearly straight after the second payment

Do not have any conditions

Suggested improvements
Yes, don’t issue people appointments and then run 2 hours behind letting people from A and E go first when they haven’t been allocated an appointment you should work around the people who have had an appointment booked in. I’m pregnant and had a migraine and waiting in a small stuffy waiting area with flood lights, loads of people, lack of air (was so hot) isn’t good when you have a migraine and you are 37 weeks pregnant. I understand there are people who get rushed in etc but you do need to consider people who are more priority and also those that have been issued an appointment. In the end I couldn’t stand being there, it was better that I was in bed. I assumed that out of hour doctors would be straight forward but it’s not. A real shame really, plus the waiting area needs to be a lot bigger and have aircon on.

I wasn’t 100% happy with the doctor and could of been a better experience. But it wasn’t all bad.

Suggested improvements
111 service put me through to the appointment at the urgent treatment centre. When I saw the doctor at 3am he was questioning me as to why I was attending after he examined me - not before. I have been suffering with really bad swollen tonsils, couldn’t talk, ear infection and sinus pain, this was day 8 for me. Doctor made me feel guilty for ringing 111 and coming in. He wasn’t happy about giving me antibiotics but I’d argued that nothing over the counter was working for me. I feel it’s important that doctors need to listen to their patients and stop trying to put us down. I was made to feel like I shouldn’t of called and I should of carried on in pain. He finally gave me a prescription for antibiotics and then told me to find somewhere in the morning. There is a pharmacy within DRI next door to the urgent centre so I didn’t understand why I couldn’t go there so that’s something I would say definitely needs improvement because I still went home in the same pain I came in with and had to wait hours for a local pharmacy to open. Just unnecessary pain.

The staff i spoke to were fine. It was a very busy clinic with 4 hour wait. It couldn't be helped as so many people were ill obviously. I heard receptionist deal with impatient people and appeared to be curteus I'm response to their demands to be seen quicker. The medical I saw was friendly and reassuring. This was the first time I have been to this clinic. Your staff have to deal with so many people not following rules. Not every one visiting wore masks. All staff did and I thank them for this. One parent per child, an extra person taking up a seat an ill person could have had. Adults with a companion... again another seat taken up where an ill person could sit. Some ill people were having to stand in the corridor Your team has their work cut out to police this. This is not your fault but selfish public.

Suggested improvements
Any wait time and lack of seating was out of your control.

It took ages to get an appointment as I rang 111 12 hour s prior, as I had abcess didn't want to go a and e to sit for 9 hours as unable to sit once I arrived at out of hours I was treat well, I was given an area to lie and wait, they ran about 90 minutes late but that's because NHS are always understaffed due to politician not understanding pressures, the doctor was lovely referring me for surgery needed, the receptionist went above and beyond to guide me where I needed to go as I was feeling faint. Can't thank them enough xx

Suggested improvements
More staff, direct availability to book emergency appointments as our doctor doesn't give options any more which means I had to wait longer and use 111 service which is also under strain from pressure of service.
