No normal medical conditions
Nice pleasant and helpful staff
I had an appointment at 1.15pm, they said that it would be a slight wait, 5 hours later I still wasn't seen, I then got told it was based on severity and if someone who just walked in was iller it would be them first, it turned out I had a severe ear infection and got put on high dose antibiotics.
I was happy with a service and thanks
Firstly the ambulance guy were rude but that was probably down to understaffed and over worked.
I had and still have a bad back which keeps having painful spasms. As there was no beds I had to sit in a wheelchair for 17 hours and see a doctor every few hours should not once actually looked at my back. The nurses were stretched but madd fire I had painkillers which took the edge off the pain but sitting was causing the spasms to increase. No offer of a scan or treatment wax offered and sent me home. I gave bern bed bound living alone got two weeks now. And only just been given something to try and relax my back. Thankfully I have good friends who have collected meds and shopping for me.
My appointment was at 10:30pm I waited 2 hours to be seen in absolute agony with a herniated disc after telling them I cannot sit but was left to sit there...only to be taken through to A&E and placed in a 10 hour wait time que...I had to leave as the pain sat was too much to bare , I wasn't even given any pain relief...making this pointless journey made my condition even worse..what an absolute joke , the Dr that saw me really didn't seem to care and just dordled about very slowly before dumping me in a&e and going home.
I have colitis
Good service needs improvement
Things need to improve in the way people are seen. Given appointments need to be prioritised over a&e admissions. I understand it’s hard but there should be a time where you can authorise hourly slots for people coming from a&e to ease congestion
I’m asthmatic
