Firstly the ambulance guy were rude but that was probably down to understaffed and over worked. I had and still have a bad back which keeps having painful spasms. As there was no beds I had to sit in a wheelchair for 17 hours and see a doctor every few hours should not once actually looked at my back. The nurses were stretched but madd fire I had painkillers which took the edge off the pain but sitting was causing the spasms to increase. No offer of a scan or treatment wax offered and sent me home. I gave bern bed bound living alone got two weeks now. And only just been given something to try and relax my back. Thankfully I have good friends who have collected meds and shopping for me.

Suggested improvements
Pay nurses better to increase the numbers. Use sone of the beds from the covid hospitals made during the pandemic. 70-80 of the people in A&E were non English speaking with non urgent treatment required maybe someone who makes the decisions should sit in A&E and witness for themselves the amount of people who turn up because they are not registered with a doctors.
