Friendly and welcoming staff whilst visiting the centre. The appointment I booked was on time, quick and speedy. The Gp asked if I had any other questions and also gave me the first Pharmacy at the time which was open too, which means I was then able to get my prescription which was provided.

Whist on the phone to get into the service, I wish the person I had spoken to was able to let me know how long the wait may be, so I didn’t have to keep ringing back up to see if I was still going to have an appointment the same day. As I was sure with my situation, I knew I needed to see a professional to get a prescription prescribed. So if patients know to a certain range of how many hours they need to wait to get a call back or apportionment confirmation. This might help others from having to keep ringing back the service for updates.

My appointment got cancelled at 9.30qm Saturday morning for me to be contacted at 10.30 to be offered an appointment at the same time one got cancelled at at the same place. When I arrived and queried this was told was due to staff calling in sick however when I was contacted was told was for a medical emergency. Totally not acceptable

Hire a better telephone handler. The gentleman that called me was very rude and unprofessional. He claimed to be a GP and if this is the case then he's in the wrong profession

Make the signage in car park clearer. I found the NHS parking but there were parking notices asking to download an app and make a payment in this area. I did all that - really stressing about my appointment time and about wanting to be fined to find out I didn’t need to. This needs to be clearer.

The service received was excellent- our GP couldn’t see us (daughter with unpleasant and painful ear infection) however the Same Day Health Centre was excellent. Staff polite and the gentleman who saw and rapidly diagnosed her condition was the best health employee I have encountered - pleasant and cheerful, putting my daughter at ease, confident with his knowledge explaining how the infection had probably arisen. I must admit the gentleman is a true credit to the NHS - especially in the current environment of years of cuts and the huge impact of COVID and many others could learn a lot from his wonderful treatment. Please feel free to pass on my thanks for this excellent treatment of us during our visit. Kind regards Den & Madison Worthington

Rang 111 for help they told me to go to same day care in the morning so went there and they said they couldn’t treat me as what I needed wasn’t available there so went to hospital so I shouldn’t have been sent there in the first place I explained what I was going through so he should have sent me to the hospital instead so wasted all our time was very disappointed

When ringing 111 make sure they give you the right information and not waste my time and the doctors at the centre

I was told I might have anemia

Do you mean answers as in all the questions I have answered so far or do you mean the last question re my condition ? I’ll answer as if point one. 111 were good and clear as was the Doctor who spoke to me. When I attended the out of hours service in Doncaster I was seen by a Doctor who again was professional but still friendly and knowledgeable

Arthritis Dvt history Back injury (disc removed) - disabled

Not to be sent to A&e where waited over 6+ hours with no pain relief & not seeing a Dr. Had to leave due to pain & no waiting area free to lay down or even sit !
