While everything got done that needed to be, I was not made to feel comfortable during the assessment. The clinical approach was not appropriate for tackling the sensitive topics I spoke of. With the increased waiting times, I feel that I have been left hanging with no direction for help or treatment after my diagnosis. 4(+?) weeks with no communication is a long time to wait when you are in need of specialised care.

Owen the Psychiatist was great put me at ease straight away and was a great listener, and asked excellent questions when assessing me for Autism/ADHD.
we had a great natter about tennis as well- roger, rafa and Novak.

I got good information and advice, and was agreed to have the dictation sent to me so that I have the notes too

A fab experience from start to finish my assessment was done by dr Sadiq and he made me feel at ease straight away and explained everything in great detail, my prescriber Clive Lillie was also fantastic made my medication journey great as it can be daunting but I was put again at ease wasn’t rushed I was listened to, he answered all my questions in a very timely manner I appreciate all your help thank you so much.

the experience with my titration was amazing Colleen Hume was very informative and gave great advice, I didn’t feel any pressure to do anything I didn’t want to, asked how it was going, how my symptoms was, any side effects and answered any questions I asked and we’ve got to the end off my titration and found the perfect medication for me, I would definitely recommend this service

The whole experience was as easy and stress free as possible, the communication from customer service, my prescriber, and my doctor were all incredible and efficient.
My initial diagnosis call with my doctor, Dr Jovindah, was relaxed and really informative, Dr Jovindah made a clear diagnosis and took everything into account from my forms and video call.
My titration prescriber, Lorraine Forsythe was readily available whenever I needed, she gave me a comprehensive treatment plan and made sure to check in frequently with updates regularly, and weekly reviews.
Overall the whole experience has been super reassuring and as pleasant as can be given the reason for my referral, but the entire team at psychiatry uk have been amazing and are providing such a vital service!

I found every health professional at Psychiatry UK for ADHD treatment great. In particular, I found Michael Curtis very helpful and assuring. I came via an NHS referral.
At no point did I feel pressured, I felt a lot of support and my needs, including a million questions, and making sure medication worked for me (instead of my life working for medication), were addressed.
Medication has given me an incredible footing and I'd thoroughly recommend Psychiatry UK.

Had interview with psychiatrist first who listened very carefully to my issues and worked out medication and care plan that suited me (rather than just treating every person the same which I have had in the past with another psychiatrist).
While using this service I was able to contact someone very easily and could get advice if things with the medication were strange and also very importantly they had no problem in reducing the strength of the medication I was prescribed when the side effects were too strong.
Highly recommended service.
