I feel a follow up appointment or for me to able to send and email would be useful as while I didn't get the diagnosis I expected my mind went blank and thought of things after the appointment that I could have discussed

There was some significant waiting time which could be quite frustrating but it's because they deliver professional care to clients/patients and it does require time.

Today I had an assessment with Dr Sajjad Sadiq who was such a lovely informative man. He made me feel at ease straight away and calmed my nerves. He explainedr everything and was very polite in his questioning. I felt I could share my concerns and ongoing problems I have been havaing with him without judgement. I would highly recommend and thank him for his time and patience with me.

I would recommend psychiatry UK to NHS patients. The wait is long but there is little alternative to that without going private. I was treated with dignity and care during my ADHD assessment. I am now waiting titration. Thank you to Dr Asiain who assessed me, and to the admin team who reply timely on the online portal.

Whenever I had a problem, PsychUK were very quick and accommodating from the admin team to the nurses and consultants. They have protected me well and tried their hardest for me in really tough times securing an ADHD diagnosis. I cannot recommend the service enough.

Fabulous service, Simple forms to fill out, and fairly simple portal to manage, and yes a wait for the appointment, but given it's taken me years to realise I had ADHD, a few more months doesn't matter. The consultant Dr Husni Al-Robb was very kind, and non- judgemental. He was methodical and through at taking a history and didn't rush my answers, and brought some humour to the process. I've told many others about the service already, and how to access the right to choose process. Thank you for the help.

Long waiting time, though as expected. The consultant was professional and seemed efficient. Explained the process which helped me manage my expectations.

I am writing to express my deep frustration and confusion regarding the service I have received. I have encountered numerous issues that have left me feeling unsupported. Firstly, I was informed that I had been discharged from the service in June. However, my GP has not received any letter confirming this discharge, which raises serious concerns about the accuracy and timeliness of your communication. It is perplexing that despite the discussions about my discharge, there was no mention of this in our communications last week. Furthermore, I made it clear that my lack of engagement during the titration period was due to my observance of Eid. Despite my honesty, it seems that no allowances were made for these significant life events. The lack of understanding and flexibility shown by your service in this regard is disappointing, especially considering the additional challenges posed by ADHD and dyslexia. Moreover, I have heard of other patients being discharged abruptly, with the excuse of medication shortages. Now, I fear that I am being targeted similarly, with unsubstantiated reasons being used to justify my discharge. This is incredibly concerning, particularly as I have already endured a lengthy wait for medication that, in the end, did not work for me. It feels as though, after years of waiting, I am being dismissed without a valid reason. One of the most distressing aspects of this situation is the impact it is having on my education. I had put my studies on hold, hoping that the new medication would enable me to return to university. When I was informed that I would be trying a new medication, I re-enrolled, expecting that I would finally receive the support I needed to succeed in my studies. Now, with the threat of discharge hanging over me, my academic future is once again in jeopardy. Additionally, I have encountered issues with accessing my letter, as I am unable to open it using my date of birth. This further adds to my frustration and sense of being neglected by your service.
