Mr Mannur Kesava Reddy

What can I say from day one this lovely man gave me the best advice and he’s amazing knowledge which helped me to make the decision to go ahead with my surgery. In august 2023 I had a gastric sleeve at spire Brentwood where I received the upmost care and aftercare from Mr Mannur and all the staff at spire. I cannot thank Mr Mannur enough for giving me the tool to change my life and I trust him with my life and he deserves the upmost respect as he is simply amazing. He is such a lovely person and gives it to you straight he’s bedside manner and after care is impeccable. If you are considering any surgery with Kesava then don’t hesitate.

I had a gastric sleeve with Mr Mannur at London Clinic in July 2022. My case was a little complicated by my very high starting bmi and many private surgeons and hospitals did not want to accept my case even though the underlying reason for weight gain had been addressed with extensive therapy. After 7 years on an NHS waiting list I knew I would die if I didn't get help soon. I was scared, but from the very first consultation I knew I was in safe hands. Fast forward to now, I have a 86kg/13 stone weight loss in total with just 5kg fluctuation that seems to go up and down often but I have lipodema and lymphedema so fluid retention and swelling is something I battle with often (91kg/14 stone lost from highest to lowest weight). Mr Mannur laid out expectations clearly, that one step weight loss procedure would not see me reach my final goal, no promises were made that could not be met. He was honest, transparent, helpful and never judgemental. He treated me with the upmost dignity and respect. My journey continues, but I have my life back, far more quality of life, more energy, and hope for the future where as before I saw none. And now I am preparing for part two of the process on the NHS this time, because now it seems people believe me when I say I want to regain control of my health. If it had not been for Mr Mannur I would have given up hope. He gave me the life line when no one else would. Thank you Mr Mannur, I couldn't have done it without Mr Mannur. 5* and definitely recommend.

Mr Mannur is an exceptional Dr. I felt so safe in his care. He was very honest and matter of fact with me, which is brilliant. His manner makes things much less frightening. The day of my surgery I felt nothing but excitement. Not many patients can say that. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Mannur.

I felt that I was given enough information to make an informed choice about the surgery I was having. Mr Mannur explained the process and made sure I understood what he was explaining. He asked if I had any questions and gave full explanations of the points I raised. I was very confident that I was in safe hands for my surgery. Mr Mannur and his team are fantastic. He has literally given me my life back. It is three years since my gastric sleeve surgery. I have maintained an 8 stone weight loss. I continue to be monitored and supported by Mr Mannur and Claire with regular follow up appointments.i will always be grateful for the non judgemental kindness demonstrated by Mr Mannur during my first consultation at the Spire Hartswood Hospital. He put me at ease, listened, explained and helped me to make the best decision of my life.

Mr Mannur has supported me throughout my weight loss journey from my first app till now (6 months post op) he literally saved my life. Always just an email or call away. His team is second to none always on hand to help. Honestly can’t recommend Mr Mannur and his team enough.
