Mr. Bowes is patient and knowledgeable. He understands my issues (e.g. PEG tube reduces type of medication). He clearly explains the current situation and how things are to move forward. I am vulnerable so trust is important and I feel reassured each time I visit.

I recently underwent cataract eye surgery with Dr. Oliver bowes and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, my experience was exceptional. The doctor and their staff were incredibly professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the procedure in detail, answered all my questions, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. The surgery itself went smoothly, and my recovery was quick and uneventful. My vision has improved dramatically, and I am thrilled with the results. I am grateful to Dr. Oliver Bowes and their team for their outstanding work and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering eye surgery. They truly exceeded my expectations, and I am so thankful for their expertise and care.

Mr Bowes is a very kind and considerate doctor. He took good care of my mum when she needed her cataracts done and also liaised with his colleague as to the timing of my mums eyelid surgery too. My mum had great confidence in Mr Bowes and felt well looked after throughout the whole process from initial consultation through to surgery and final discharge appointment. I highly recommend Mr Bowes.

He is a caring doctor;b) he showed empathy from the beginning of my journey in his care.he did not treat me as a specimen he treated me as a person.I have never met him before,however at the first meeting he showed great care ,compassion ,he used the word "We;" he shared my fear and concern he gave me hope; l did not feel alone .l am grateful for all the care he and his team provided.

I have just had two cataract operations with Mr Bowes his level of knowledge and expertise is first class and his calm caring professional manner puts you at ease and he explains everything so very well his after care is also excellent no only checks on you in your room after the procedure by phones his patients thee day after to check all is well !! Mr Bowes is happy to answer any questions you have doesn’t rush you in to decisions . I highly recommend him from his advice I now have no eye pressure or pain and headaches to top it all he has also made me glasses free with the procedure a bonus I wasn’t expecting . Mr. Bowes was extremely professional in all aspects from my first consultation to my discharge following cataract surgery. He was friendly, helpful, understanding and put me at ease prior to surgery. He telephoned me the next day to see how I was progressing and said I could call him direct if I had any concerns. I would recommend Mr. Bowes without hesitation.

Dr. Bowes is an excellent doctor, the first appointment I had with him, I was very impressed, he checked my sight thoroughly, explained the procedure of cataract surgery, fully explained the positive and negative of the procedure and he also gave me time to ask any questions or clear my doubts, I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good doctor, he is compassionate, soft spoken and has time for his patients.

Having spoken to my health insurance company, they arranged a consultation with Mr Bowes at the Nuffield Health in Brentwood. In the consultation Mr Bowes explained the procedure for the cataracts operation. having listened to him I was happy to proceed and we arranged two suitable dates, one in December 2022 and the other in January 2023. On the day Mr Bowes again explained what would happen in theatre, and when we went to theatre he reassured me throughout the short operation, having listened to him I was more than confident with the second procedure in January. Having had both eyes done I am now able to see more clearly although I will still need reading glasses. My test was simple, before the operation I was unable to read the script on the television, particularly the moving script at the bottom of the page on the news channels. Now I am able to clearly read this. I was more than happy with Mr Bowes and would not hesitate to recommend him.

Could not be more pleased with the outcome of cataract surgery. Mr Bowes explained everything (including risks) prior to surgery and took great care to explain everything post treatment.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Mr Oliver Bowes. He was very friendly and professional and explained the procedures and options in a very clear and understanding way.. The procedures he did on both my eyes were successful in improving my eyesight in both eyes. I will not hesitate in seeing Mr Bowes again if I have any further problems.
