From the moment I met with Mr T I knew straight away from his compassionate and patient approach that he was thorough and committed to my treatment.
He contacted me regularly through out the treatment to ensure we were on track.

My name is Rita Halliwell.
Doctor Talawadekar has treated both my hands for carpel Tunnel. I am totally satisfied with the treatment received and thanks to him I am now pain free.
The Left hand was done at Westmorland General, The right hand at the BMI Lancaster Hospital.

Mr Talawadekar put me completely at ease when I had my first appointment. He was very kind, polite, and knowledgeable. He was patient in explaining to me what the problem was and how he was going to treat it. The treatment and advice were so successful that by the time I had my follow-up appointment, I was almost back to normal and no longer in pain. He has a gentle sense of humour, which helps to lighten any situation where you are anxious. Thank you, Mr. T.!

I recently fractured my left clavicle ( it was literally in pieces) Mr Talawadeker did an excellent job of putting it back together, it is now healing very nicely and I hope to be back in full working order in the next few weeks.

I had a Right Shoulder Total Replacement reversed + biopsy.
Mr Talawadekar was very clear about what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. He explained this in detail and was very pleasant and courteous but also very professional. He left me in no doubt that I was in the right hands.
From my experience with Mr Talawadekar I could not think of any way that my treatment could be improved. It was excellent all the way down to the staff in the Orthopaedic clinic.

Introduction:
After completing Orthopaedic training in the UK, Mr. Talawadekar undertook Fellowship training in shoulder, elbow hand/wrist and sports surgery in the UK and Canada.
He currently works as Orthopaedic Consultant with special interest in Upper Limb Surgery at the University Hospitals of Morcambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. He has been an Orthopaedic Consultant since 2016. Majority of his work involves Shoulder and Elbow surgery with the rest involving Hand and Wrist. He also perform general orthopaedic trauma surgeries.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS Tr&Orth) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is actively involved in research with multiple National and International presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals and is the Principle investigator for some National Research Projects, at his trust.
He is also a keen trainer and junior doctor educator, and was awarded 'Teacher of the year' award. He is an accredited faculty with the AO foundation, a prime worldwide organisation that deals with trauma care. He is the College Tutor and is responsible for surgical training at the Furness General Hospital.
He is a member of British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS). He was awarded Certificate of Excellence from iWantGreatCare, a patient review website, after becoming one of their most highly and consistently recommended clinicians by patients treated under his care.
