Subject: my left hand
Dear Mr Talawadekar,
I am pleased to tell you that your recent operation on my left hand was very successful.
From having three fingers mostly in a trigger position and painful lumps across my palm, unable to either write or use cutlery, all is now looking so much better.
Although it was 71 miles to Blackburn, as opposed to 44 to Lancaster, I was so pleased to be able to have my operation done that the extra miles didn’t matter.
(Perhaps I shouldn’t tell you that my partner was caught speeding, in my car, on the way home, 36 in a 30)
Thank you so much for your care and kindness, Jennifer Hodgkinson
