Nothing and everything.
The staff were caring and competent.
Banning smoking caused much distress, to the majority of admissions who had "nicotine addiction. " A lot of nursing time was taken up with escorting patients to the Hospital entrance, so they could smoke.
I suggest allowing vaping in the ward garden.
The ward felt a bit "prison like ", with high walls and double locked doors.
Again, I suggest permitting vaping would allow the ward to be more "open".
The nursing staff had very little flexibility in permitting leave.
This also was made more problematic, by the complete no smoking policy .
Thank you, Christopher Lawson
I liked Ola.
During my short stay in the Phoenix Ward I found the staff very compassionate and caring.
I always felt comfortable talking to them and they made me comfortable when I felt anxious, especially at meal times because of me eating disorder. The observations can be a little annoying especially through the night but I soon got used to it. I'm very grateful for all the support from the staff here it's certainly helped me get through a dark time in my life. Thank you.
Good conscientious holistic care. Good groups to help spend time positively.
Good food as well.
Need to leave quickly to get cigarettes.
Great care all staff are always helpful.
It went good today, good care.
I know that I could of had more attention with conversations instead of coming straight into hospital about my experience.
Every staff member; Patrick, Regina, John, Clement, Gareth, Debbie etc gave me so many engaging conversations about life which benefitted my happiness and care.
I was at an all time low and needed professional help.
I managed to get a bed on Phoenix Ward. It was the best thing that could have happened to me.
