I know that I could of had more attention with conversations instead of coming straight into hospital about my experience.
Every staff member; Patrick, Regina, John, Clement, Gareth, Debbie etc gave me so many engaging conversations about life which benefitted my happiness and care.
I was at an all time low and needed professional help.
I managed to get a bed on Phoenix Ward. It was the best thing that could have happened to me.
Food /Hygiene and environment excellent.
Most interpersonal care - very good.
Lack of access to physical activities
Lack of CBT based therapies.
Excessive reliance on drugs by consultant.
Limited discussions RE. patient longterm/midterm history.
Access to garden particularly welcome- fresh air and sunshine (on a good day) can be the best medicine.
Staff friendly and approachable; good range of activities.
Big improvement since my last visit in May 2014.
Clement, Jobin, Debbie, Helena and Beth are all brilliant members of staff who go out of their way to be kind caring and compassionate towards patients. I hope they all continue to work in mental health so that they can help many more patients in years to come.
Ola is also a fantastic member of staff as are Flo and Regina.
My behaviour patterns.
Nothing as all I got was detention and suppression.
