Boots Opticians Spalding

All the staff at boots opticians in Spalding are lovely and friendly and so helpful, make you feel like you are important and nothing is too much trouble. Never kept waiting and always greeted when walk in the door. Absolutely fantastic opticians. The eye examination was very good very thorough and not rushed. Would not go anywhere else ever again. The choice of frames is great too.

I didn't have to wait. I was greeted as soon as I entered. The whole experience was professional and efficient. The only thing I found disappointing was the appearance of the store. It was too clinical. In this day and age you expect an opticians to look more inviting.

I found the whole experience excellent. (Jan, Bridge Street, Spalding branch) who dealt with me saw me promptly on arrival and had a lovely manner and great sense of humour. Charlotte the optometrist was equally friendly and explained everything as we went along. I felt very comfortable during the eye test. When it came to choosing a new pair of glasses, Jan offered her advice on different styles of frames and was very patient as it took me a while to make my final choice! I would not hesitate to recommend this branch to a family member or friend. I have been to other well known opticians but have always felt crowded and rushed due to lack of space and privacy. I did not feel this at Boots. I should add that up until 2009 I was a regular D&A client so felt that Boots would give me the same level of care as they took over the franchise.

The staff were extremely accommodating as I turned up 30mins early for my appointment and I barely had to wait around! Fantastic! At the time of the appointment I didn’t have time to chose some glasses as I had friends visiting me so said I would go back the following Monday. When I went back in on the Monday I was shocked at the change in service!! I struggled to get through the door with my baby’s push chair and the staff members just let me struggle through the door, a passer by helped me in the end. I then started to look at glasses and just felt very uncomfortable given what had just happened, the fact that I’d been in the previous day and they had no memory of me - so I left and have purchased glasses elsewhere.

Great service very professional & helpfully

My appointment was at 9.20am, when we arrived at 9.15am a notice was on the door to say they were closed until 9.25am due to staff training. I understand staff have to be trained but it would have been nice if they called me and changed my appointment time so I did not have to stand around waiting for the shop to open. Other than that all went well and they have some really good new equipment.

More variety of lower price reading glasses.

Louise was really friendly and chatty so made the whole consultation so much easier.
