Boots Opticians Maidstone - King Street

Boots opticians, staff are always a pleasure, the new lay out was obviously planned by someone who never worked in a shop. Confusing set up not customer friendly or focused ,I feel sorry for the staff the removal of front counters two silly little islands appalling. Who ever designed this is obviously in the wrong career .may the designers should understand if it not broke don't try to fix it and make 100 percent worse.

I was deeply disappointed by this experience. I booked an appointment online answered all the questions. When I got to the appointment the receptionist came into the waiting room and in the presence of other customers started asking me for my personal details age, DOB address, medical questions. I explained that all of this was already given in private on line when I made the appointment. Eventually, I ended up walking out the waiting room and cancelled my appointment. I believe that whilst Boot's services maybe good, I would have preferred the receptionist to take me one side if personal information was required and not to do it in full view and hearing of others.

My appointment was for a contact lenses 12 month check up and i felt at ease with the Optometrist during this appointment. He carried out the check up with care and was very professional.
