Boots Opticians Macclesfield - Mill Street

I took my mother who has moderate dementia and mobility issues due to hip replacement to Boots Optician Mill Street today. I was extremely impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff and the time they took to engage directly with my mum so that she managed a full eye exam and eye test. They then helped her select frames to suit her needs. Just really good all round experience.

The staff here are generally very good. My family have been coming here for years, but Morgan the Optometrist went the extra mile today. I needed an urgent hospital appointment and he did what he could to make this happen. Thank you Morgan.

I had a great experience at Boots Opticians, Macclesfield. The staff were very friendly and efficient as well as highly professional and well trained. Kayleigh and Sarah took great care of me and I will happily continue to have my eyes tested at Boots.

A very thorough examination following my cataract operation. Everything was fully explained including advice on when to consider new glasses.

I was given an appointment on a Sunday as I couldn't go on Saturday. So it was lovely and quiet. There was still a steady stream of people but very little waiting time. The staff were excellent, they were attentive & friendly.

It was explained to me that a trainee would be doing part of my eye test. He was very thorough and talked me through the process as he was doing it. All the staff were friendly yet remained professional.

Shorter waiting time would be better.

The appointment was a disaster ! I arrived at 2.35 for a 2.40 appointment having paid the car park fee for one hour . At 3.05 I was asked to go into the first booth to start the appointment . I asked the consultant how long would things take . She replied that her bit would be about 5 minutes and the the main bit with the Optometrist would take a further 25 minutes . Thus if I carried on with the appointment I would not get back to the car park in time and therefore incur a fine ! Therefore I had to abandon the appointment . Needless to say I was not happy !

Whole eye test was conducted in a professional way staff very friendly made you feel at ease everything was explained bout the test so nothing to worry about would recommend boots opticians to anyone I know one hundred percent
