Boots Opticians Guildford - Swan Lane

Tried to ring them 6 times to cancel appointment as had to self isolate and no one ever picks up the phone. Also they cancelled a previous appointment and gave to someone else and just emailed me. I had confirmation that I had booked this appointment - not trustworthy.

Very friendly and polite and offered advice in a very professional manner.

I had a booked appointment for 14.25, but I was not seen until after 15.00. No-one came to me to explain that the appointments were running late; I had to follow up with the reception desk to check that I hadn't been forgotten.

Care and attention

I was seen by a young lady calles Abira, I was a bit apprehensive as she looked too young to know what she was doing. However she talked me through everything and explained exactly what she was doing and explained her conclusions thoroughly at the end of the examination. Having been having eye tests now for many years at Boots I can honestly say she was the best optician I have ever had. I hope she stays.

Lots of information and helpful advice about my lens wearing and glasses, especially recommending moisturising drops and drinking more water! Informative and friendly front desk staff (Charlie.) But why is the lighting so bright at Guildford? It is almost painful!
