Boots Opticians Camden

This is an excellent opticians. Everybody is so helpful and they really do go above and beyond to make sure that you have the right glasses/lenses for you. I used to go to a very smart and expensive opticians but honestly this branch of Boots is so much better.

Brilliant always in every aspect. This is a quite outstanding opticians with friendly helpful and highly professional staff. One couldn’t ask for better, from asking for a quick repair, done on the spot through tests and up to ordering new spectacles. And in my case including arranging excellent cataract operations by the specialists Optegra.

My uncompleted cataract operation has become rather a long process in healing somehow . For the last 3 months I have been back and forth to Boots Optician, Camden High Street numerous times as I was having so much trouble with my operated eye. Last month, the helpful friendly optometrist , Ruman had to refer me back to the Eye hospital for further treatment.  Then again yesterday, I  had another episode of soreness and pain in my operated eye, Ruman quickly diagnosed  the unusual AAU, but most importantly also picked up some underlying health conditions and promptly alerted the hospital and my GP.   I do credit the optometrist's depth of caring and professionalism!  I have been going to Boots Optician Camden  for many years now, and would not even consider going anywhere else. Thank you so much Ruman.

We travelled from Bexhill on Sea to go to Camden Boots for our eye test as I have for many years worked with Ruman Jaigirdar and we have faith In his testing . we found the shop to be to be very welcoming and all the staff keen to help , the young girl who did the pre test was helpful and professional also kind . after a full a through eye test we then handed to the DO he was very helpful, and was patient and very kind . we would recommend this opticians to anybody who needs help with any problems, all in all I would thoroughly recommend everyone at the branch. Great service

I found my visit to boots to be very pleasant. I felt I got a great care from the doctor and he was both professional and nice to me. He was very careful when putting the test contact lenses but I realised that contact lenses are not for me right now even if I got used to putting them on. I didn't want to waste the doctor's time and he was very understanding of my decision not to go forward. Unfortunately I was very picky about the frames for my glasses since its my first pair. I was not able to find what I was looking for in this shop. I really appreciated that the sales girl in the shop did not push me to buy something I was not entirely happy with. The only reason why I didn't purchase glasses was because within my budget (£50for frames) I could not find the shape I liked and even with the £150+ frames, I could not find anything that was ideal for me. I ended up purchasing frames from Specsavers which coated £40 and even with the special antiscratch antismudge and computer use coating, the total price was just £75. If I were to buy similar pair at boots, the price for the same specifications would have been closer to 140 at least which was way out of my budget. However I will come back to boots for the eye test in 2 year's time because I liked the staff.
