The silver cloud app is great and the content is easy to understand. The extra features like breathing videos in particular were really useful however I don’t think it’s been updated in a while so could use some new content. In contrast the phone calls were not as helpful. I felt they were formulaic and not tailored to my needs. There was no opportunity to build more of a rapport with the therapist due to long periods between calls and therefore no continuity. I had to reschedule a session and gave more than a week’s notice but the process of trying to reschedule was cold and I decided not to continue because I felt like an inconvenience.

It would be useful if calls could be scheduled closer together so there’s more of a feeling of continuity and picking up where you left off last time. It would also be useful if therapists could provide more tailored advice and techniques without deferring to silver cloud. Finally, the process for cancelling or rescheduling sessions could be reconsidered. A templated email warning that you will be removed from talking therapies is not helpful. I understand the demand for the service but when patients genuinely need to reschedule and give a decent amount of notice it would be nice if some kindness and understanding is extended rather than defaulting to cold emails.

I didnt find CBT helpful for my situation, though the therapist listened to me talk it was clear there was a set course to follow.

Therapist called 15 minute late on my last session, this caused me to miss the call and they didn't try again. They emailed to ask how I wished to proceed and I confirmed I still wanted to finish the sessions but I was never responded to.

The person who evaluated me NEEDED THERAPY. I was never contacted by the manager afterwards. She hung up on me. Your service is prehistoric ridiculous inexistant and a disgrace. You basically DONT CARE. SHAME ON YOU!

She was very understanding and encouraging

Unfortunately my therapist was off sick quite a bit towards the end so care was inconsistent

I came to talking therapies after a lifetime of hell. I finally wanted to try and get things sorted. After speaking to a Psychologist privately but not being able to afford the treatment, I turned to talking therapies. Explaining my problem & the therapy that I needed. They offered me CBT after I had explained, I've done this therapy around 3 times in the past which hasn't been helpful & I even told them the therapy that has been suggested by a lead Psycologist. It was dismissed. So unfortunately for me I have to just continue living with a constant fear.

Listened to what I needed. Not dismiss the whole reason I self referred in the first place. I haven't recieved any treatment as I didn't think wasting my time, wasting the therapist time and taking up a space that could be useless for another individual was fair. Because I have don't CBT many times & it's not what I need.

The treatment is very prescriptive and not very holistic.

I was told that I could not be referred to orthopaedics until I finish the physio sessions.

Clean and Physio very efficient. Private area also and this was appreciated. I would recommend this hospital and physiotherapy department. Receptionist s were well informed and welcoming.
