was good
Thank you for your feedback. There is a therapy programme that runs across the week including some sessions over the weekend. There is a range of games, puzzle books and arts and crafts available in the activity room and a small collecting in the quiet lounge. These can be freely accessed at any time. The therapy programme and activities are continually reviewed and suggestions welcomed.
Not given a lot of information about discharge until the day and couldn't talk to the doctor. No vegan food.
Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry to hear that this was your experience. The Team offers opportunities to complete ward round planning sheets and provide 1-1's after ward rounds to review any questions or queries you may have. Usually expected discharge date is discussed quite early on in a person’s admission and the care plan goals reflect this. I will remind keyworkers to ensure they discuss approaching discharges more frequently during 1-1's. I will pass on your feedback regarding the food to the hotel services team.
This should not have happened, so I am really sorry. I have passed your comment to the service manager for fuller explanation. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager
I have had the most helpful time being in hospital. Sandpiper Ward have excellent staff and it would be too hard to recognise every person who helps, but they haven't just looked at my diagnosis but at me as a person. I felt very safe with the nurses. It takes a very strong caring person to do this work. The staff are non-judging, helpful and have gone above and beyond so may times.

All the staff were friendly and i had no issues with anyone.
Completely
It was the first time I had to visit and didn't feel judged at all, the staff were very helpful and I received the help I needed
Took into consideration how the test should have been conducted due to my circumstances. Very kind and compassionate even over the phone. Also gave me option to get me quickest results
The staff was very friendly and helpful I have enjoyed the activities and the company of the staff and some of the patients.
We apologise for your experience whilst on Spinney ward. This is not our usual standard and staff are aware for privacy and dignity purposes for our patients that they should knock the door before entering. We have prompt reminders on each bedroom door and we will remind staff within the team meeting of the importance of this.
I am glad you enjoyed the activities. I have sent your comment to the ward manager as a reminder to staff. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient experience Manager
