I have had the most helpful time being in hospital. Sandpiper Ward have excellent staff and it would be too hard to recognise every person who helps, but they haven't just looked at my diagnosis but at me as a person. I felt very safe with the nurses. It takes a very strong caring person to do this work. The staff are non-judging, helpful and have gone above and beyond so may times.

Suggested improvements
More intervention in so far as suggesting games etc.

Response from St Mary's Hospital

Thank you for your feedback. There is a therapy programme that runs across the week including some sessions over the weekend. There is a range of games, puzzle books and arts and crafts available in the activity room and a small collecting in the quiet lounge. These can be freely accessed at any time. The therapy programme and activities are continually reviewed and suggestions welcomed.
