It was all very positive. The staff were incredibly busy and managed to juggle a lot in the time I was there. Time management is a difficult one as how to make it more efficient? I waited for someone to look at an x-ray for 3 hours although I wasn't a priority as I wasn't in any danger, the x-ray I believe was for just in case, however, I could have been gone and out of their way a lot earlier.
Staff were friendly and approachable
The system the understaffed nurses work under is awful. They have to spend more time on computer screens and paperwork than on patient care. I got lost from their system mid-way between departments. Had no idea who my doctor was and saw different nurses day to day.
Got no problem with nurses at all but the waiting at accident and emergency is a disgrace it really did smell long wait sitting on chair with breathing problems was not giving all my medication to me never know queens hospital like this
I was treated with the utmost respect.
The nursing team/hca's were fantastic! They treated my mum with care and respect.
From start to now the only members of staff that was good and compassionate was the ambulance staff. From the moment they handed over to the hospital the treatment and onward treatment is extremely poor, the communication from doctors and nurses to GP staff is extremely poor that they also lied about any info they did give. I’m still waiting for a phone call from the doctors as to what’s is actually wrong with me and what onward treatment I should have.
I could not fault on anything
Was in A&E was very busy
Staff were very helpful, friendly, i
Both Charlotte the CNS nurse and Lauren the RN made me feel so at ease and killed any nerves I may have had. They made a worrying, nervous experience very easy and totally put me at ease instantly with lots of communication and kindness. Excellent service.
