It would have been better and less costly to the NHS if I could have got an appointment with my GP rather than having to use this service.

Arrived after calling 111, given appointment in a&e, saw in a&e, sent to acute med, sent back to a&e. Total time so far, 3 hours. Checked in at a&e, went through to second area, predicated wait time, 12?hours. After 2 I left as I was in so much pain and so uncomfortable on chairs, I need to lay down. There was a gentleman there with suspected pneumonia who had been waiting 8 hours.

Spoke to people, instead of checking in and say doctors will see you shortly, be honest. Doctor in acute very good and asked lots of questions. Nurse in a&e seemed generally disinterested finding the quickest way to move along without full diagnosis or feedback.

I didn’t feel reassured at all at my appointment. The nurse didn’t look as though she wanted to be there. I just felt as though I wasn’t examined properly and I left feeling worried as I was told they didn’t know what it was that was wrong with me. Duty of care was none existent

A more positive attitude towards patients and abit of reassurance would help

the waiting time was appalling. this really let the hospital down on its standards it wasn't even busy on that particular day

I had an appointment at 4:30 pm and didn’t get seen until 8pm. Then was in the room for less than 5 minutes before told to go home and if it gets worst to go back. When asked receptionist how long as my appointment was at 4:30 she was extremely rude and shouted at me then people who’s appointment was after mine went in before me aswell very unhappy

When you give an appointment time make it close not hours apart

I have had to go to your services on a few occasions and always been treated with respect and dignity. My own Go practice is very poor and has no interest in looking after there patients . I myself was really ill and if it hadn't been for your service I would have ended up in A and E . So Thankyou for you services thank God we have you .kind regards

Very good service . The only thing I would say is in my case the person I spoke to got in touch with my doctors and told them I needed to see a doctor in 12hrs . When I then called my doctor to confirm appointment they told me they didn't have any . Total waste of time . I have found your doctors are much better than my own .

I arrived at a and e and was directed to urgent care, where I waited for 5 hours, to be sent back to a and e. Where I sat for a further 2 hours

Errrrr because I have cancer

Stop arranging and double booking patients. I called 111 and was given an “appointment” to turn up at a specific time. I waited over 5 hours and in the end I just went home as it was as a complete waste of time. There were that many people there with “appointments” I had to sit on the floor. I have cancer and I was peeing blood. The service I received was shocking and as such I believe the hospital trust should be investigated for lack of care and respect to patients. What a shambles and a completely rubbish system you have in place

Because I have asthma

I could ask that footstools be provided both in here and A&E for people who need to keep their legs elevated after recent operation. Apart from the long wait the service is very good.
