I am my Mothers carer and we were very happy with your service thank you
I’ve suffered with depression for the past 20 years and anxiety. The staff were aware and were amazing with me.
Constant shoulder pain
The receptionist on arrival was rude. The doctor I spoke to on the phone was very good. I have recently been discharged after surgery for having a fungal sinus infection. When I spoke to the doctor on the phone I was reluctant to come in because it was so late and I had work in the morning but the doctor told me I needed to as the fungal infection could have spread to my ear and that I would be given pain relief. When I got there the doctor I saw had no knowledge of my conversation with the previous doctor and basically just told me to go back to my GP and wouldn't give me any pain relief. He didn't even look up my nose. It was very inconvenient to be dragged out of bed at that time amd convinced to go into the hospital only to receive no help. I don't understand how there was no continuity of communication between the doctor I spoke to on the phone and the one I saw. I was made to feel as if I was wasting the doctor's time when I had been convinced to go in. A very poor show. I am extremely angry about how this was handled.
I rang 111 and shortly after a doctor rang back who advised and booked me in to thenUTC. I was seen after a short wait but was treated very well and wouldn't have any concerns about using the UTC again if required.
The only concern raised at time. I has to go over my entire history and what had happened that evening when paramedics came to my address. The doctor could not access the records as not linked so was frustrating and time consuming. He then carried out all assessment procedures that paramedics had done surely the linking of systems should be made available to provide maximum service to all and to prevent repetition. I understand doctors want to complete their own assessments but not to have access surely should be made available. I was sent to ooh doctor then he sent me back to a and e. So again I had to go through it all again. !! Very frustrating system.
From the start the service was brilliant. I phoned on behalf of my mother and even from the start with the operator the care was brilliant.
None of the above
