I arrived at the clinic went to the reception to book in the bloke behind the counter didn’t have a clue what he was doing told me he was gonna get the lady to book me in 35 mins later still haven’t been shouted for my appointment I had already book in for so I went to the counter cause a little boy had been shouted in to find out they couldn’t even be bothered to book me in so I didn’t get seen at all to then be told the doctor won’t see me sorry but that is not my problem that ur colleague can’t do his job properly I needed that appointment as I’ve been having really bad headaches so then I phone 101 back to be told I have to go hospital ASAP to be sat there 8 hours to be told carry on what I’m doing taking paracetamol sorry but that just isn’t good enough especially when I’ve been having theses head aches for 3+ weeks as it is sorry but my service was absolutely shocking
I appreciated the effort they put into treating me.
Doncaster urgent care would not see me/treat me although I live in Doncaster.
111 had first directed me to Wakefield urgent care who were happy to see me but would be a 45min drive so gave me the Doncaster number to try.
My GP is just over border into Nottinghamshire. Doncaster urgent care didn't have Worksop urgent care centre number so ended up starting again with 111.
What a waist of time and resources to go through same questions 3 times.
Finally sorted with GP at Bassetlaw hospital.
Anxiety and depression and also have non epileptic attack disorder
Very good caring and understanding staff.
I was seen by Emily and she made me feel like a person rather than a number. Emily listened to how I've been feeling and empathised with me. The receptionist was welcoming and kind and on observation very hard working. Adhering to covid 19 procedures and ensuring the areas were safe for both staff and patients. It felt like a calming area and everyone was seen quickly and promptly a far cry away from my experience in A&E a week prior.
