The Doctor I saw was lovely polite listened to me an throughly assessed me a treated me accordingly she was brilliant The lady who took my call when I rang the out of hours was very rude to me made me feel i was an inconvenience to her also the call cut off an she never rang me back, previously when this has happened the caller had rang me back I wasn’t expecting a call back from a clinician but 3 hours later a GP rang me back what concerns me she called me Hayley nightingale when my name is Louise I feel I wasn’t listened to by the call handler due the the fact she put wrong name for me also she didn’t bother caller me back when our call got cut off I spent 3 Days in hospital this week had some complications an also painful side effects from medication It turned out I needed antibiotics had the GP not called me back I would of been left untreated an not wanting to call back as it’s seemed I was an Inconvenience

Suggested improvements
The call handler could of spoken to me better instead of being rude to me I understand the NHS is stretched an as I’ve spent time in A+E then on the ward prior to this I know there is high demand this doesn’t excuse the call handler to speak to me as she did n to not bother ringing back to inform me I would get a call back from the Gp that evening just because it was a busy time when I rang

I went to the hospital because I had a severe bleed coming from my back passage. The first doctor I saw was fine, he talked me through what would happen. The doctor told me there wasn’t any piles or rips around my anus but because of the heavy bleeding he couldn’t see where it was coming from. The doctor told me he was sending me to another doctor and then referred me to the surgeon. I went to see the other doctor (A&E) and he was awful! The second doctor couldn’t understand why the first doctor wanted me to see the surgeon and then decided to phone the surgeons directly. The doctor had an argument with the person on the other end of the phone (whilst I was there) because the surgeons wanted to see me but the doctor didn’t feel the need for me to go. The doctor told the surgeon and I quote “look at it this way, if I send this patient to you, it’s another patient you have to deal with today” he also said to the surgeon “he’s not got a bleed anymore” bearing in mind he’d not even looked at my back passage at this point, I told the doctor I was bleeding and he got it wrong! The doctor then said to me to lay on the bed so he could examine me. He didn’t give me any warning what he was going to do he just shoved his finger up my bum quite aggressively. The doctor said my anus looks very healthy, there’s nothing there but the bleeding is quite severe, he gave me a prescription for pile cream (when I don’t have piles, just a lot of blood) I asked the doctor will this stop the bleeding and he said “yes, I think so” I’ve been to my doctors again since then, they have taken bloods and got me in for an endoscopy which is more than that doctor did for me.

Suggested improvements
Be more respectful to patients Be more caring to patients Get to the bottom of the problem instead of sending you home with a prescription that is not needed and making me feel like I was just a tick box

To improve service

Suggested improvements
The doctor was very understanding kind & approachable . She advised me to contact the G P regards blood tests & X Ray of which was not done He emailed the receptionist to state wait till antibiotics are complete . Mixed information from 111 as they were also very good but stated required blood tests therefore take A & E route . A& E do not do them . Was asked the same questions at 3 different stops . The receptionists in A & E were also really good . However there is no even level of communication , which NHS talk about , the same questions & information when not well can be exhausting .

It was just waste my time and nobody helped me in the emergency department after stay more than 10 hours! Every moment my condition got worse and I had seizures several times, but they only checked my blood pressure several times and I did not even see the emergency doctor. They did not even have my pills in the hospital for me to use. I was finally discharged myself because no one helped me and my health was deteriorating and it was really crowded and noisy and I could not rest at all. But I want to thank the night shift nurses in the emergency department.  They were really kind and especially a female nurse who was short and I think was Chinese. But unfortunately the morning shift nurses were really uncomfortable and I completely felt their racism. I realized that they had no plan for my treatment and were a little confused, and I did not even see the emergency doctor after 10 hours. They said in the morning and after self discharged , we wanted to take you to the ward!!! But it was too late and I was also very upset with the way the morning nurses behaved. I wanted to make an official complaint in PALS department but since I was not feeling well at all , I returned home to rest.

Suggested improvements
Further education in the treatment of patients and especially how to associate with foreign and non-English patients.

I saw someone ar Cavendish about my ear and was told to 'ring boots in the morning' AS GPs don't srynge ears anymore! I felt in absolute agony and annoyed how a nurse or whatever she was just told me to go to boots knowing it was bank holiday and the next day was a Sunday!!!!....I rang 111 back when I got home at 9pm and was told the call back was 7 hours baring in mind I HAD JUST BEEN TO THE DOCTORS! or told me to go at sit in A&E!! This care isn't acceptable !

I came in with a strong lower back pain possibly caused by previous gym visit

Suggested improvements
I think the wait wasn't too long which is great and the health care specialist has explained well how I could avoid getting the same injury with a tiger balm and to stretch before exercise

Lots of ongoing issues

Suggested improvements
Waiting room far too busy. No social distancing and kids running around everywhere. People stood up as seats taken and no space to get away safely from anyone. Too crowded for my liking
