Cut finger kept bleeding. GP said no appointments go to Cavendish House. They had to look around for a dressing. Said they were there to deal with things medical .. cystitus for example.

Given the impression that they also dealt with minor injuries.

No communication from the nurse who examined me, complete silence. I showed the nurse a letter I had received from my last ENT consult, as I was having problematic symptoms related to Sinus issues, she disregarded this and didn’t bother to read. Just felt it was a very poor level of service. Not communicating with me whatsoever - just did the usual checks. But total silence, with minimal words

Overall vg experience the nurse was very knowledgeable and professional explaining things Well - we liked her and are happy with the appointment and advice given.

From the initial call through yo actually seeing a doctor the process was smooth. The call handler was polite and courteous. The doctor was knowledgeable and proficient. Shame my own doctors weren't as accommodating or interested which would have negated my need to use the service.

Nothing to improved from my point of view. Perhaps one thing would be to have the ability for the service to contact the patients GP when the patient needs to see their own GP for treatment that can not be prescribed by your service. The meds I need can only come from my own GP where it is impossible to get an appointment even after attending the surgery 30 mins before its opened still unable to see a doctor. Resulting in me being in incredible pain.

The female nurse did not show any empathy in regard to my hearing problem. It was difficult to understand her especially with having a mask on. I got the impression that she was impatient with me as I kept asking her to repeat herself. I don't like feeling like a naughty child at the age of 76. I came out very upset. Will not be going there again.

A different nurse perhaps, one with more compassion.

I haven’t been able to see a doctor for over 3 years in the past only telephone consultations. The doctor explained everything examined me properly and explained everything he was very nice and extremely professional
