Because I felt I had heart attack

I was treated with respect care and compassion at all times during my visit. I was not waiting long at all to be seen and I was given impeccable care and advice regarding the issue I came in with. The amazing nurses even took time to reassure and comfort me in what was quite an unnerving time for me. Could not fault anyone in the practice.

I haven't used the NHS 111 service before and so this was my first visit to the centre. I was very satisfied throughout from the telephone call to ascertain my needs to being seen at the centre. On arrival I was informed that there was a delay which wasn't as long as expected. All of the staff were polite and respectful. The lady that I saw was very caring and compassionate and was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe medication. The place itself was clean and seating socially distanced with staff wearing masks. However, apart from some hand gel on the table as I went in and some on the reception desk don't recall any other hand gel points (for example in the toilet area) There was a problem with one of the lights flashing in the reception area which wasn't helpful given that I was feeling dizzy and sick. Overall, I would rate my experience as very good and would certainly recommend people use the service rather than going directly to hospital.

The nurse was great and listened to all my needs And ensured I had the best treatment Thank you for seeing me on a Sunday as I was in pain and worried

I feel awful writing this Just the wait time , it was 1 hour and 20 mins roughly However on a Sunday to be seen by Someone is amazing And the receptionist was lovely , I think it Lauren she had glasses on All the patients kept asking when would they been seen , I did thank her as I left as I felt sorry for her Maybe have a screen with wait times on , the receptionist did sign post to people that they would be one , just maybe better sign posting

The team (from the call handler through to the nurse who saw me) were very responsive and guided me through the appointment quickly. Thank you.

I had difficulty collecting my prescription from the nominated pharmacy – eventually a different pharmacy (attached to my GP practice) we’re able to track the prescription against my NHS number and issue the drugs. Important to note that this technical issue was separate to the excellent service I received from the people at the Same Day Medical centre.

Although a bit of a wait the overall experience was fine.

Waiting time improved, over one hour from expected appointment.

We tel for advice on Sat afternoon- not sure of the time approx 2 o’clock. tel call back came at 5.50 the next morning/ it would have been better for a non clinical member of staff to feedback the timeframes as we were sat by the phone until after midnight waiting with no idea of when/if we would receive a call.

Inform people of likely timeframes
