I haven't used the NHS 111 service before and so this was my first visit to the centre. I was very satisfied throughout from the telephone call to ascertain my needs to being seen at the centre. On arrival I was informed that there was a delay which wasn't as long as expected. All of the staff were polite and respectful. The lady that I saw was very caring and compassionate and was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe medication. The place itself was clean and seating socially distanced with staff wearing masks. However, apart from some hand gel on the table as I went in and some on the reception desk don't recall any other hand gel points (for example in the toilet area) There was a problem with one of the lights flashing in the reception area which wasn't helpful given that I was feeling dizzy and sick. Overall, I would rate my experience as very good and would certainly recommend people use the service rather than going directly to hospital.
