The Nurse Practitioner I saw was superb. The Dr who called me prior to giving me an appointment was arrogant and dismissive and clearly wasn’t interested. He even criticised my decision to remain with a local pharmacy and seemed more interested in fobbing me off than giving me support with the asthma issue I had. He even wanted to know who the GP was who sent me for a chest XRay so he could give them advice on current practice. He has a zero bedside manner in my view and shouldn’t be involved in direct patient care, or maybe he was just having a bad day!!

On the telephone contact what can I say. I was really angry and just thankful I didn’t see the Dr who rang me as he would have been given feedback directly and my care issue may have taken second place. As it was the Nurse I saw was professional, caring and superb.

The dr was very thorough, and put my mind at ease regarding severe ear pain and suggested treatment and eventually ear irrigation. He also picked up on my blood pressure which he advised to get checked

Very happy , after trying numerous times at my own surgery and failing to get an appointment. I was able to make a phone call and be seen within the hour

It was the pre assessment part of the process, I know my own body and I know what I was suffering due to previous experiences but no one would listen. The 111 lady was really nice though who did listen, everyone else not so much

Listen to patients and don’t assume anything based on a tick sheet. The services don’t scream friendly it screams frustrating and not wanting to bother ringing at all, which was the reason my problem got so bad because I didn’t dare ring in the first place

Absolutely nothing, the care and professional service were excellent.

I do not have one.

The doctor or nurse who first saw me shook her head and made a tutting sound at what was wrong. She lacked compassion and I felt she was being quite rude, spending 2 minutes in silent carrying out jobs instead of interacting with me. However, as she went to get help, a male member of staff came and was very respectful and caring, very good patient communication, told me what I needed to do etc.

Long te asthmatic. Under control with a daily preventative inhaler.

I was referred from 111. It was a lengthy wait to hear back from them but I was given an appointment and seen promptly. My issue was acted on quickly and it made a big difference. Not only was action taken but given clear explanation and advice on next steps.
