As always fantastic staff, kind, always got time for me not matter what! Love them all.
All staff have looked after me and made me feel safe and happy at all times brilliant and kind. Lovely and kind, made me feel at home always 100% effort given.
I was set at ease and a good history was taken and a full assessment carried out with attention to detail and helpful advice and demonstrations given for further reducing swelling.
It was a very difficult time for us but the service was superb we felt supported at all times.
My experience has been totally positive. I can't praise the whole team highly enough.
Thank you for your kind comments which I sent to the staff. I am very sorry that the heating was faulty. I have spoken to the service manager who assures me that it is now working properly. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager.
I'm glad you had a positive experience. I have passed your comment about the heating to the service manager as this should not have happened, sorry. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager
Exceptional. The staff here work very long stressful tiredness hours yet are always so kind, caring, have an ear to listen to.
My care and the lead up to my visit today have been exceptional. I feel truly lucky and privileged to be being given care by such a caring and professional team.
Julie on reception has demonstrated excellent caring and communication skills. My appointment has had to be moved due to my catching covid! Everyone has been so kind and understanding.
Roxanne did my telephone pre visit and demonstrated excellent care and communication skills. She listened to and acknowledged all my health conditions and recent cellulitis that lead to Lymphodema. I felt that she cared.
Jayne today was excellent, she checked I was OK, checked that at every step I was happy to proceed and comfortable. She has great people interaction and care skills. She explained everything in a straightforward manner and ensured I had no questions unanswered.
My dignity and self-esteem were maintained at all times.
Whilst very professional I felt that Jayne was friendly and genuinely cared.
I am extremely grateful for the care and kindness I have received from everyone. My experience has been exceptional.
I do not know if the palliative team (nurses) are part of the home helpers at home offered 3 how sessions when I phoned Cynthia Spenser and crying begged for a bed. They did 3 hours but no practical help and frequently mum ran out my medication.
Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that the service did not meet your expectations. Hospice at Home will provide up to 3 hour shifts to support patients in their own home that are considered to be nearing the end of their life. We work closely with District nurses and the Specialist Palliative Care nurses. Marie Curie provide a rapid response service and they also offer an overnight sitting service for patients to try and support to allow patients to remain at home. Hospice at Home will review patients medication and should they identify that patients are running out then they will ask relatives to call the GP to ask for a prescription. We do try and support patients and their relatives as much as we can, should you wish to discuss this further, please speak to Richard Glasspool, Service Manager on 03000 271282
The nurses were knowledgeable, caring, sympathetic, helpful. Just wish they were around more.
