I do not know if the palliative team (nurses) are part of the home helpers at home offered 3 how sessions when I phoned Cynthia Spenser and crying begged for a bed. They did 3 hours but no practical help and frequently mum ran out my medication.

Suggested improvements
Put all the time and recover it her care as they kept mum at home and paiin free. There are some serious attitude issues in the nursing team but I could not say at home especially I think his box { } do 24/7 caring for 6 months justice if you are really interested ore space for feedback and less space for equality nonsense./nI referred from making a complaint as I was on my knees and am still to recover but it has all Shambolic. Thank god for Marie { } can you team from them?

Response from Cynthia Spencer Hospice

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that the service did not meet your expectations. Hospice at Home will provide up to 3 hour shifts to support patients in their own home that are considered to be nearing the end of their life. We work closely with District nurses and the Specialist Palliative Care nurses. Marie Curie provide a rapid response service and they also offer an overnight sitting service for patients to try and support to allow patients to remain at home. Hospice at Home will review patients medication and should they identify that patients are running out then they will ask relatives to call the GP to ask for a prescription. We do try and support patients and their relatives as much as we can, should you wish to discuss this further, please speak to Richard Glasspool, Service Manager on 03000 271282
