My 13 year old son had his booster immunisations this morning. I loved the way the health care professional acknowledged me but spoke specifically to him to confirm his details and who I was and then went on to describe what each injection would cover and why. She also showed him on the laptop the ones he had had as a baby and pre school so he understood the history of his records. Although as a parent I had chosen to consent to him having the immunisations, I felt that this was a great way to introduce him to understanding for himself what it means and how important it is to have them. So thank you.

[name removed] was amazing with my son who suffers with anxiety and was very nervous about today's immunisations. She talked through everything with him. She made sure he felt in control, reassured him at every stage. After the appointment on our way home he said he felt so proud of himself and it wasn't so bad after all, he said [name removed] was very good at her job and made him feel comfortable and brave.

The sessions provided by [name removed] the occupational therapist have been very supportive and helped a great deal with my recovery. They made me feel listened to for the first time. The Kick Back at Covid group has been absolutely invaluable. [name removed] and [name removed] are amazingly supportive and the opportunity to speak to other people who are struggling with long covid have been a massive support to my mental health as well as helping me to understand what has happened to my body and mind.

The fatigue management sessions, whilst having some really valuable information, would benefit from a slightly more interactive delivery. For people who were struggling with fatigue and brain fog there was a lot of information that was just read from PowerPoints.
