The doctors, staff and care were all wonderful.
The staff in the operating theatre who were able to do so came over to introduce themselves to me and say hello which made me feel very welcome and feel that I was in good hands.
I only gave four stars for room comfort because my room was very chilly almost all the time and I once woke up almost shivering. The nurses did did turn my room temperature up a bit and gave me some blankets but it was generally pretty cold. When I went to the operating theatre, I was told that the area was cold because of all the machines – which I understood.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the whole building.
I assume that the reason I was not told the cost of treatment was that it is being covered by my BUPA. However, I would like to know the cost purely out of curiosity!
Absolutely outstanding care from start to finish - everyone I met was truly kind and delightful. I can't thank them enough.
The service was fantastic and very patient focused. Katie the nurse who looked after me the first night after my procedure was out of this world her level of care towards me and my relative staying was amazing and I would recommend this hospital just on the care I was given that night. Also Trevor one of the doctors on the ward was fantastic and took all my worried and fears away and was always coming to check that I was comfortable and if there was anything else himself or the team could do.
Overall I had a very positive experience, I felt comfortable and looked after.
I was in hospital overnight for an operation . Everything was good on arrival. The anaesthetist was excellent and explained everything to me.My consultant was marvellous and I have great faith in him.
After my operation the first day the nursing staff and catering staff were excellent. Very attentive. I had some physio in the afternoon which went fairly well.
The next morning I rang the bell for the nurse for an hour as I wanted to use the toilet and get up and dressed as I was leaving that afternoon. No one one came My daughter and son in law were collecting me. There is a two taxi train journey to get home. I had ordered a sandwich for lunch for 12.30 that never arrived. I did ask if I could have it wrapped to take on the journey. Still never arrived . I was waiting for paracetamol from the pharmacy that never arrived. We had to leave to catch train which the staff were aware of, on the way out I was told I should of had more physio but that never happened
Overal I was very disappointed with my hospital stay especially as I was self funding.

Both surgeon and all the medical staff were excellent. I wasn't allowed to eat much so what I had was excellent. The nurses were very helpful and took all the time I needed. Aisling O'Sullivan , Angie Maitland, Angelica de Guzman were excellent.
Communication prior to procedure and help liaising with insurance was very helpful. All the staff including the very kind and personable anaesthetist and surgeon, doctors, pharmacist, cleaners, catering team were amazing, but a special thank you to the wonderful team of nurses whose care and attention is second to none. In my post op daze I cannot remember all the names, but certainly my daytime nurse yesterday (I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name now) and Jier today, have looked up me so well. Thank you so much.
I find the care at CC excellent. I would have all my medical care there if I had a choice. Everyone is caring and shows a genuine interest in your health. I would recommend the CC to anyone wanting excellent medical care.
Very responsive staff . They were always polite and said who they were .I felt confident in all of them
I particularly liked the preoperative discussion in theatre prior to the operation.
The food was excellent and the hostess taking the menu request was really helpful
Also very accommodating to relatives
