The care from ICU nurse Jan, and the nurses in 5th floor Charmaine, Jenny, Wilma, Ana, Veronika, Katie, Ashley, Jenny, SStefania, John, Jaye, Billy, Isla, Hariat, and many more that I might have missed their names were fantastic, without their care I could not servive for 3 weeks. My consultant were fantastic as well, they explained everything before my operation.
The only complaint is your kitchen, they forgot to deliver my dinner twice. And they got the food wrong.

Short stay overnight. Was not given breakfast until nurse requested at 10.30. Lunch, baked potato with grated uncooked cheese so was very dry, arrived on time but was warm not hot and served without butter. Tea was requested at 3 but never arrived as I left at 3.30.
Fainted when went to toilet, probably through dehydraytion, excellent treatment at this point, my husband counted 8 people in room. However afterwards drip alarm rang frequently and often nurse did not come. I can understand it was not urgent, but on the other hand the noise drove me mad.

Excellent health care combined with personal care (e.g. having a clean private bathroom) and good food made the experience a positive one. Staff were considerate e.g. when waking me during the night for obs. Integration of these elements is important and this was done; e.g. the catering staff had my dietary limitations on their tablets.

All of the staff at the hospital were amazing and the standard of care was excellent.
Staff went over and above to make my stay welcoming; they spent time chatting and the porter even showed my all the art work when waiting for an X-ray.
Nurses, Paulo and Lauren were particularly kind and caring.

Looked after so well from arriving at the desk to be admitted until when I was ready to go home, was booked to stay for one night but was well enough to go home on the same day, the nursing staff were amazing as were all the staff, my consultant Mr Byrne was as usual wonderful, I was very happy with my treatment and stay, such a lovely hospital
