Excellent health care combined with personal care (e.g. having a clean private bathroom) and good food made the experience a positive one. Staff were considerate e.g. when waking me during the night for obs. Integration of these elements is important and this was done; e.g. the catering staff had my dietary limitations on their tablets.

Suggested improvements
Slight delay on receiving medicines from pharmacy on the afternoon of my departure. And a little thing: I walked to one corner of the fifth floor through an open door to where there were sofas. I sat down (it was my first walk after the op). A gentleman came and told me that was his room and I felt bad but it was hard to see that the sitting space was part of his "suite". Also, I have eczema and my skin reacted to some of the adhesives in dressings etc. Not sure if it is possible but are different dressings available that are more suitable for reactive skins?



And the view was great.
