Overall I was happy with the cleanliness but the toilets could have been a little cleaner. Since it’s a sexual health service and people provide samples I would have preferred it to be spotless. But they weren’t bad at all

Rebecca and Janet were absolutely fantastic. Made me feel so relaxed. Rebecca talked me through what was going to happen and also as she was was doing the procedure.
I can’t fault the service and friendliness.

I saw Rebecca, she was amazing, friendly, respected my name change and new pronouns. They gave me appropriate information for my implant and even referred me to the counselling service when I asked about it! 10/10

My appointment today (18th June 2022) was at 1pm.
On arrival I was greeted by Linda and informed that I would need to return at 5pm as I required local topical anaesthetic rather than injection as I was currently taking propranolol which is contraindicated with local injection anaesthesia.
I have had an implant before and previously not experienced a problem.
Having to return was a great inconvenience both in time and money costing extra fuel and parking.
I feel that the extra delay could have been avoided
If a telephone consultation had occurred prior to my appointment, I would have been informed that I would have needed to attend an hour earlier than my appointment to have the skin preparation.
I would like to add that Linda was very professional and helpful and accommodated my return at the end of her appointments, but this added pressure to an already busy service.
